The Quietus | All Articles — [image] While most of London was out enjoying the unseasonably warm weather of the past few weeks, The Quietus was indoors, in dark rooms full of over-caffeinated cinephiles packed like cattle, clawing tooth-and-nail [ tooth and hoof, surely? Ed ] to see the best new films of the year. There were the usual suspects: Herzog, Soderbergh, Jarmusch, Jeunet; the American tweeness and French pretension we've come to expect and some dark horses we didn't see coming.
