... had more knowledge of recording and better contacts I would aspire to be like them, but obviously I could never top the real thing. Anyway, the two have finally come together for an absolutely haunting four song set that includes three fantastic songs from the amazing Hospice, ("Shiva", "Kettering", and "Two") along with the rarely heard "Cold War" from their Cold War EP of a couple years ago. Photo by Jeremy Farmer While you were putting the finishing touches on your Balloon Boy costume, Brookyn epic-indie craftsmen the Antlers were at the Daytrotter studios, getting ready to drop another free, live-in-studio EP on the world.
The Antlers recorded their Daytrotter session on October 30, playing songs from their BNM'ed Hospice album, as well as an oldie from their self-released Cold War EP. The results are now online; go here to stream or download them.
